Velayatistresses need to deepen Tehran-Manama ties

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- the international affairs advisor of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stressed the need for promotion of Tehran-Manama relations, on Monday.

Ali Akbar Velayati in a meeting with Iran's new ambassador to Bahrain Hossein Amir Abdullahian, noted that Tehran attaches special importance to development of ties with Manama.
He made it clear that expansion of the mutual ties requires further mutual efforts and that Tehran is seriously pursuing the matter
